Continuing education has consistently been a hot topic with our therapists. We know how important it is for both you and your patients that you stay up to date on the most current treatments and techniques. In an effort to help our therapists stay up to date on the newest changes we want to take the opportunity to remind each of you of the REQUIREMENTS REGARDING CONTINUING EDUCATION.
According to the Physical Therapy Board of California new regulations require all Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants renewing their license to complete a required number of hours of continuing competency activity.

New Licensees
If you are in your first 13-24 months of licensure in California and renewing your license for the first time, use this chart to help you determine the number of continuing competency hours required.

Reimbursement: up to $250/yr for part time employees, up to $500/yr for full time employees
*Classes must commence after eligibility has been met. Receipt of payment and proof of course completion must be submitted. Course must be approved by HR department
