How do you find your candidates?
Preferred Healthcare has been recruiting allied health professionals since 1994. We have an expansive database of high caliber clinicians and the ability to source candidates nationwide. Preferred Healthcare uses marketing campaigns, social media, conferences, job fairs and additional resources to continue to build our database.
Do you perform reference checks?
Yes, our extensive prescreening process includes a minimum of two reference checks before we hire a candidate. This ensures the candidate has the appropriate skills and experience. Candidates are screened thoroughly by means of background checks, drug testing, and vetting qualifications.
Are you Joint Commissioned Certified?
Yes, Joint Commission Certification demonstrates our commitment to a higher standard of service. Additionally, it provides a framework for organizational structure and management as well enhances staff recruitment and development.
What healthcare specialties does Preferred Healthcare staff?
Preferred Healthcare works with a broad range of healthcare professionals and clients. We staff rehab therapy and other allied health specialties that are in high demand, including, but not limited to: Therapy, Radiation Oncology, Respiratory, Medical Social Workers, Laboratory and Radiology Professionals.
Does Preferred provide health insurance, employer taxes and workers compensation for employees working per diem or travel assignments?
Preferred Healthcare is responsible for the payment and processing of taxes, professional and general liability insurance and workers compensation costs for all temporary employees. We provide eligible employees with a generous benefits package which includes: Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k) Retirement Plan with matching contributions and Continuing Education reimbursements, based on eligibility.
How do you manage compliance?
Preferred uses technological safeguards designed for the healthcare staffing industry. Credentials are monitored and clinicians are notified of approaching expirations. Professionals cannot be scheduled in our system if any of the required certifications have expired.
Do you work with government facilities?
Yes, Preferred Healthcare provides professionals for the General Services Administration (GSA). Facilities include state, federal and county facilities where healthcare is delivered.
When do healthcare facilities use temporary staff?
Healthcare facilities utilize temporary staff for many different reasons such as: changes in census, employee turnover, sick days, as well as for special projects, such as expansion. Temporary staff is also a planned solution for vacation coverage, medical leave, or employee training (e.g. EMR).
What are the length of temporary assignments available?
We have temporary assignments to fit every need. Preferred Healthcare’s flexible staffing solutions range from 4 hours (minimum) to 26 weeks or longer.
