Currently working as a physical therapist at an acute care facility in Torrance, California, Taro has earned recognition for both his professionalism and the personal qualities he brings to every interaction.

Helping Patients Understand, Recover and Move Forward
For Taro, physical therapy brings together his longstanding interest in how the human body works with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
As Taro explains:
Physical therapy gives me the opportunity to bridge the gap between understanding the human body and helping someone get back to living their life.
With undergraduate backgrounds in nutrition and human physiology, I’ve always been fascinated by how the body works and how different aspects of health are interconnected. Physical therapy allows me to bring that knowledge into patient care by combining anatomy, physiology, movement, and education to help patients understand their conditions and work toward meaningful functional recovery.
What I find especially rewarding is that I’m not only helping someone recover from their current injury or limitation. I can also provide education and preventative strategies that empower them to take better care of their health moving forward.
Taro’s thoughtful approach to patient care, combined with the professionalism, communication and reliability he brings to his assignment in Torrance, makes him an excellent example of the healthcare professionals we are proud to represent at Preferred.
