Our Latest Field Staff Recognition Winner
We have the distinct honor of introducing Jerry N., a motivated Registered Behavior Technician who helps students improve their mental health at a school district in Fullerton, California. Jerry’s recruiter, Julie Guiste, nominated him for going above and beyond in his role. He has a way of connecting with the students and is willing to do what is needed for the position. He is a valued employee, and we are glad he is part of the Preferred Healthcare Staffing family. Congratulations, Jerry, for earning this well-deserved award!
How Jerry Became a Registered Behavior Technician
“My name is Gerald, but everyone calls me Jerry! I grew up in New York, and that is also where I received the majority of my education. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from a small liberal arts school named Hartwick College. After graduation, I decided to pursue a career in mental health counseling. This decision motivated me to earn a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, which I’m currently completing at Grand Canyon University. I’ve been working in the mental health field for just shy of four years in a variety of positions; however, I’ve primarily worked with individuals with anxiety, depression, and various mood disorders. I look forward to each and every day with the population I currently serve. I can see the positive impact that mental health professionals provide on the youth, and knowing this impact allows me to feel passionate about what I do every day.”
